Federal Minimum Wage
The Federal Minimum Wage: effective July 24, 2008, the federal minimum wage for covered, non-exempt employees was raised to $6.55 per hour, and for July 24, 2009, to $7.25 per hour. A revised Federal minimum wage poster is available from the Department of Labor's website. The Oklahoma minimum wage is equal to the federal minimum wage of $5.85 per hour.
